Meditation is a practice where you train your mind to focus on something for example Breathing Meditation, to achieve a state of calm and relaxation. It has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and improve overall mental health.
Meditation is so much more than just trying to sit and not thinking. Although this can be useful as a base line to then do a Meditation.
The Real Meditation is about exercising, training and transform our negative thoughts into the positive thoughts in our mind.

Meditation functions to make the mind peaceful so we experience a purer form of happiness. In this way our experience of anxiety, depression and stress naturally subsides.
Gradually, through training in meditation we will experience mental equilibrium, a balanced mind free from disturbing states.
